I'm Austen, a portrait and sports photographer who calls Kansas city home. I started taking pictures as a hobby 5 years ago and am so lucky that it has brought me to where I am now. One of my favorite parts of my job is you: the people I get to meet and work with. Having the privilege of capturing important moments in people's lives is such an honor. To be asked to be apart of important events, hearing stories, meeting new people, and to call it my job is such a gift. I have several award winning photos, one of which was hosted in Washington D.C. I love how much joy it brings others and how happy I am to be behind the camera to capture your favorite memories.

portraiture is one of my favorites to shoot and the only thing to top that is photographing action pictures. being able to freeze time and to see that memory at any time is amazing to me. and the best thing about that is when you look back at an image it brings you back to the exact feeling you had as if you were there. During my experience I've learned to try new things, have fun, challenge my creativity, and create memories that last a lifetime with photography and graphic design. Life is full of amazing memories and what's a better way to appreciate life's wonderful moments than to get them captured. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, anything outdoors, and working out. Thank you for taking time to look at my site and work.
